Are you single with a disability and looking for love?
If so, we want to talk to you! We are looking for fabulous and fun individuals who are willing to share their journey and show the world that their disability does not define them.
Special Bridge is teaming up with Leftfield Pictures, an award winning production company that produces American Grit (Fox), Pawn Stars, Counting Cars, Alone, American Restoration (History Channel), Cutting it in the ATL (WEtv), etc.Β We’re currently contacting outgoing personalities who have a disability and are single, dating, and willing to share their unique journeys on a new unscripted dating show.
Over 56 million people in America have disabilities, but very few have been featured on TV. Now it’s YOUR turn to shine, and share you experience!
If you’re interested and 18 years of age or older, please email a brief description of yourself, your story, a picture and contact information to Kristin Brutout at Kristin.Brutout@leftfieldpictures.com.
Thank you for your interest!

I have Asperger’s Syndrome PDDNOS and Post Tramatic Stress Syndrome. I would love to be on the show but I can’t afford to travel to New York or California. Would I have to pay anything to be on the show?

I’m complicated. I am a 48 year old woman with a bone disease that has left me unable to πΆ or have full range of motion in my shoulders. But THATis not who I am. I am also bipolar and THATis not who I am. These disabilities do effect my relationships. I’d be lying if I said they didn’t. But I am a beautiful, loving, caring, advocate, mother of two young men and I just failed my 3rd marriage. I am proactive about taking care of myself. I have been bipolar my whole life and in a chair 3 years and 3 months. I want male companionship. Someone to go do crazy things like float a calm river in Colorado so not too crazy. Go to Yosemite. Hang out around the house and do DIY projects. Do things you like too but it has to be balanced. I lost myself in this last marriage. NEVER LOSE WHO YOU ARE.

Hello there, my name is Lisa. And I am a almost 40 year old who is a mom of two teenage daughters who are both in performing arts schools where my family and I reside in Florida. I have always wanted to be on a reality show like this one or one like the one called Born this way with the kids who have Down syndrome. I have been in acting classes growing up since elementary school/middle school and al 4 years of high school. I also am musically inclined as well too. I love to sing. I also have borderline personality disorder, major depression, bipolar disorder and above all a learning disability. It’s hard for me to sometimes make friends because they can’t deal with me having been born with a disability. They also can’t handle me because I have a learning disability and that I am bipolar. But my disability both mental and physical do not define who I am and it also is not a crutch to get by in my ice either. I am a strong Christian believer and it says in the Bible that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. If I get to be on this tv show you I promise I won’t let you people down. You will love me and everyone I meet in this life including my family and close friends adore me and my teachers back in the day all wanted to clone me. That’s how much they liked/loved me. Being able to be on a tv reality show like this one would be a dream come true for me because I have always wanted to be on tv to be a famous actress or singer. I am a big time disney addict so I love everything disney. I am good at memorizing lines and singing solos and duets. This reality tv show career/job would mean the word to me. Especially since I have to raise two teenage daughters all alone with no one to help me. But to be able to provide for their needs by having a reality acting careee would be wonderful and the best thing to ever happen to our family. Look forward to hearing back from you all soon. Take Care & God Bless.

I was born with mild cerebral palsy and that doesn’t define who I am or what I am. I am almost 40 years old and I am a mom of two beautiful teenage daughters who are both in performing art schools. One dances full time and the other one sings/acts full time. I would love to be on a reality tv show like this one. Because I have always wanted to be famous and never got the chance to especially to be on tv and movies. I love to sing and act and dance. I love water sports and love the outdoor life like going camping and horseback riding. My hobbies include reading, writing, journaling, scrapbooking, arts n crafts, acting, singing, karaoking, etc…

I am a friend of Marc Ard. He has severe cerebral palsy, cannot walk, stand, or speak or make accurate arm and hand gestures.. He has an alphabet based language that uses lines and letters. He has a one stroke computer switch that allows him to communicate online. He has a radio scanner and listens to local EMS and police broadcasts. He has a big personality and gravitates to TV and media. He is friends with Ed Piatrowski, local Myrtle Beach weather man, and Sam Hodges, Director of Emergency Services in Georgetown County SC. He has a great story and would be a great candidate for your show! (He also recently signed up for SpecialBridge!!)
